Chemical Peels

This traditional alpha-hydroxy chemical peel is enhanced by utilizing additional steps to augment this superficial peel process. A light microdermabrasion treatment is first performed to gently exfoliate and prepare the skin for the application of glycolic or lactic acid. Cryotherapy is then utilized to reduce inflammation, redness and improve skin tone. This treatment is effective for all skin types and conditions and is associated with minimal peeling.

Antibacterial Peel

A superficial chemical peel formulated with Salicylic acid to effectively clear pores and target cystic, active acne. Additional anti-aging benefits include the reduction of fine lines and improved skin texture. A sensation of warmth and tingling can be experienced during this procedure with associated mild to moderate (up to 5 days) peeling following this treatment.

PCA Peel®

(with or without Hydroquinone and Resorcinol).

Alpha and Beta Hydroxy acids in an alcohol base are designed to correct pigment discoloration and acne in oily, environmentally damaged skin. The additions of Hydroquinone for reducing hyperpigmentation and Resorcinol for enhanced exfoliation further intensify this treatment by tightening and brightening the skin. Mild to moderate peeling for 2-3 days following the peel should be expected. Ultra Peele i - Trichloroacetic and Lactic acids are combined with plant-sourced progesterone, vitamins and antioxidants in a peel designed to provide hydration to dry or sensitive skin. Common conditions such as hyperpigmentation and acne are also improved as the skin is smoothed and moisturized. This peel is ideal for mature or photo-aged skin. Minimal discomfort is generally experienced during this treatment and mild to moderate exfoliation can be expected.

AFA Clay-Peel

A natural clay mask is first applied to the skin to draw out oils and impurities while it pre-exfoliates and prepares the skin for application of amino acid. This peel is designed to push the envelope of superficial peels and yet causes no "down time". This treatment is very effective for pigmentation problems, ethnic skin, and promoting moisture retention. As a potent antioxidant peel, patients will notice immediate improvement smoothness, touch and texture. Anti-aging benefits typically occur following a series of four or more treatments spaced approximately two weeks apart. Those with dry or sensitive skin may not be suitable candidates for this peel.

70% Glycolic Acid Peel

An intense, superficial chemical peel that utilizes traditional alpha hydroxy acid to accelerate the removal of dry, thickened outer layers of skin. Fine lines, dark pigmentation, blotchiness, minor sun damage, and acne are all improved following treatment with this peel. Patients may experience significant peeling or flaking for several days after this procedure. As with all chemical peels, maximum improvement can be achieved with a series of treatments.
